January 1, 2002 HERE'S MY HEART... It's 2002, God is still on His throne, and Jesus is still Lord! So? Well, I only mention these two facts to remind us that, though the days on our calendar may change, and though the years may go by, some things remain the same. To me, that is both exciting and comforting. I don't know that I have ever been more excited about being a Christian, and the opportunities God is giving His church to minister to those who need Him. Yes, it's a new day, and a new year, and a new opportunity to say to all who will hear, "Jesus Loves You"! There are some very exciting things happening at Dixie Lee Baptist Church during these winter months. If you live in the area of west Knox County, or Loudon County, come and see what God is doing. At Dixie Lee, we love children, and teenagers, and young adults, and median adults, and older adults. And, if you will give us the opportunity, we will love you, too. It might be the teaching, or the music, or the activities, or the preaching, but, I believe you will find SOMETHING you like about us. But, you will have to come to know for sure.
