March 1, 2002 From My Heart To Yours... BUDS, BLOSSOMS, AND BIRDS BEGIN TO APPEAR. The grass changes from a drab brown to a beautiful green. Colors show-up everywhere we turn. The mountains of east Tennessee take on a new magnificence. To everything there is an awareness of something new. THE MONTH OF MARCH SIGNALS THE COMING OF SPRING. Another Winter season is passing, and even though it was necessary in God's design, it will not be greatly missed by many of us. To be quite honest, many of us "endure" the Winter because we know Spring is coning once again. NEW LIFE, NEW BIRTH, NEW HOPE, NEW OPPORTUNITIES. It's what the season of Spring is all about. It's what Jesus is all about, too. And, during the month of March, we will celebrate one of the most significant events in history, and one of the most important days on the Christian calendar... EASTER, the resurrection of our Lord from the grave. AS YOU READ THIS ARTICLE, REFLECT ON THAT EVENT. Think about it's impact on our world. Consider the place the resurrection has in your life. And, if it has no place, or a lesser place, then consider what the presence of the resurrected Savior can mean to you personally. GOD BLESS YOU.
