August 1, 2001 HERE'S MY HEART... It's already August! The summer is winding down. School will begin again in a few days. Soon we will hear the sounds of "It's Football Time In Tennessee"! Daylight hours will get gradually shorter. The fall season is just a few weeks away. And...God is still good. What a truly incredible summer we have had at Dixie Lee Baptist Church. Camps, mission trips, Vacation Bible School, the calling of a new staff member, new faces, and new families. It has been a very busy time. And...God is still good. This month we will select four new deacon-servants and approve a new budget for the coming year. We will give our support to a new slate of officers and teachers. We will make a new commitment to the G.R.O.W. outreach program. We will continue to see new faces and meet new families. And...God is still good. What will be your involvement in church this coming month? Will you be able to be counted on? What about giving? Will you be faithful? Will you be an encourager? Will you be supportive?
