Roger joined the Dixie Lee staff in October of 2001 with his wife Deborah . Roger
is a graduate of Judson College in 1971 with a BA in Human Relations [Psychology
and Sociology] and a minor in Music. He worked in the field of mental health, and
also in churches doing music ministry part-time before being called to full-time
vocational ministry in 1979. To prepare for this, he studied and graduated with a
Masters Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas
in 1981. In 28 years of ministry he has served 3 churches in Florida and came to
Dixie Lee after serving 11 years as minister of Music/Education at a church in southeastern
Georgia. He enjoys working with computer technology, graphics and digital photography.
He believes that music is a method of worship, a ministry of encouragement and blessing,
a way of spreading the gospel, and a way for people to express their thankfulness
for God’s goodness and grace.
