Women On Mission

Women On Mission is open to all women age 18 and older. It is composed of individual  circles of women that gather monthly for fellowship, for prayer support of church activities, and for promotion of missions within the church. The circles are involved in outreach programs such as sponsoring children at the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home and King’s Academy, assisting senior adults with household and yard chores, maintaining an outreach program for shut-ins, and assisting in the promotion of various mission offerings and trips throughout the year. In addition to the individual circle meetings, all of the circles meet as one group once a quarter, with regular monthly meetings following the ministry meeting for fellowship and missions related discussions and projects.

Girls in Action

Girls in Action (GA) is WMU's missions organization for girls in grades one through six. GA members are actively involved in learning about missions, praying for and giving to missions and actually doing missions themselves.

GA Motto: Go Forward!

GA Pledge: "As a GA, I will do my best to live a missions lifestyle that honors God by learning about missions, praying for missions, giving to missions, doing missions and participating in the work of the church."

In GA’s we:

- learn what missionaries do.

- pray for missionaries and their work.

- discover how we can help other people.

- save and give our money to help tell other people about Jesus.

- learn about people around the world.

- have fun with friends!
